King Faisal International Prize
for Service of Islam - 2015
King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia presented Dr Zakir Naik with the most prestigious Award of the Muslim World, the ‘King Faisal International Prize 2015’ for ‘Service to Islam’ on 1st March 2015.
The King Faisal Foundation, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, conferred on Dr Zakir Naik the prestigious 'King Faisal International Prize 2015’ for 'Service to Islam', the Most Acclaimed Award in the Muslim World, similar to The Nobel Prize, for his 'renowned authority in Comparative Religion' and 'promoting Peace TV.'
The prize consisted of a certificate indicating the laureate’s achievements, a commemorative 24-carat 200 gram gold medal and Saudi Riyals 750,000 (US $200,000). The entire prize money was donated to the Waqf for Peace TV Network by Dr Zakir Naik.

Dr. Zakir Naik was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in recognition of his outstanding services to Islam, including the following:
- ✓ For being the most renowned non-Arabic speaking propagators of Islam and defender of its teachings on the basis of the Glorious Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.
- ✓ For founding, ‘Peace TV Network’ – a series of satellite TV channels broadcasted worldwide in English, Urdu and Bangla languages, specializing in Islaam and Comparative Religion. The viewers of the English channel are estimated to exceed 100 million.
- ✓ For establishing a series of Islamic schools, in India. These schools train non-Arab students from an early age in Arabic language and Qura’nic studies, in addition to regular classes of Internationally acclaimed curricula in English.
